Larry W. Heimgartner is a successful writer, director, producer, and educator in the Los Angeles area. He has taught at Los Angeles Harbor College and served as Department Chair for over 40 years. Throughout his career Professor Heimgartner has been recognized as an outstanding educator and citizen. His work has had a global impact and are performed throughout the United States, East Africa, Mexico, Central America, Northern Europe, and the United Kingdom. He began writing for theater in the mid-1970’s and has been involved in international education for over 30 years.

Larry grew up in Northern Idaho where he earned a BA in English, Speech, and Theatre from Lewis and Clark State College and an MA from the University of Idaho.
