Larry W.  Heminagartner is a successful writer, director and producer, and educator of over 40 years in the Los Angeles area. His work has had a global impact with plays still currently being performed throughout the United States, United Kingdom, East Africa, Mexico and Central America. His passion is helping young people deal with social ills through theatre and recognising each other as global citizens. Through his work it has been proven that theatre is the highest form of communication, at the same time engaging audiences emotionally and intellectually therefore bringing about behavioural change.

Larry grew up in northern Idaho, where he earned a BA in English, Speech and Theatre from Lewis-Clark State College and an MA from the University of Idaho. He has taught at Los Angeles Harbour College and served as Department Chair for over 40 years.

Throughout his career he has been recognised as an outstandingeducator and citizen.

In the mid 1970's Larry began writing for theatre. He has been involved in international education for over 30 years, working with schools, colleges and universities throughout the world.
